
After the success of the film "Dampyr," created in collaboration with Eagle Pictures and Sergio Bonelli Editore, and the acquisition of rights to produce "Tiger Mask" together with Fabula Pictures, the company is thrilled to announce the start of filming for its new and ambitious project: "Prophecy."
Inspired by the renowned Japanese manga written and illustrated by Tetsuya Tsutsui, published by KI-OON, released in Japan by Shueisha, and in Italy by J-POP, Prophecy brings to the big screen the compelling story of "Paperboy," a mysterious figure whose face is always hidden behind a sheet of newspaper.
The cast of Prophecy features young and talented actors, with Damiano Gavino taking the lead role as "Paperboy," joined by Federica Sabatini, Ninni Bruschetta, Haroun Fall, Denise Tantucci, and Giulio Greco.
SYNOPSIS
Prophecy is an action-comedy centered around Paperboy, an enigmatic character who conceals his face behind a sheet of newspaper. Together with Ade, a young IT specialist of Afro-descendant origins, Paperboy faces off against an arrogant business angel in a plot blending contemporary themes, social critique, and generational dynamics. Topics such as the influence of social media, the world of food delivery, and the potential of virtual reality intertwine, offering numerous thought-provoking insights that captivate a young and diverse audience.
